2017 has seen the Office Services team deliver their most successful ever year with some record breaking performances from the team I fondly refer to as the ‘dream team’ on the whatsapp group chat. 

Aside from a trainee consultant we took on in July, because we are committed to developing future talent for the recruitment sector, every single member of the team have been here for at least 1 year with the longest serving member of our team having just celebrated their 10 year anniversary at Search which demonstrates that our Consultants enjoy working at Search Consultancy. 

While I personally find this a really positive stat to share when recruiting, I do worry that it can sometimes put experienced recruiters off. Some of the concerns I’ve heard previously include:
 

  • What clients would I target, if there are 10 of them already what is left for me?
  • There must be lots of competition, back stabbing and under hand tactics
  • Would I be able to work with my existing clients if consultants already have a relationship?
  • There can’t be much room for progression if there’s 10 other people all waiting in line for the next step up


Contrary to the above we actually have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join us at a Senior or Management level where you will have free reign to go after a specific market within the Office Services space.

We have a number of strong client relationships but by no means do we have full coverage of the market. That’s where you come in.

We have identified a real opportunity to develop a true PA & Secretarial specialism within our existing Office Services business and we need you to drive this. 

You will have previous experience recruiting within Office Services with a desire to develop the senior end of the market. Glasgow in the first instance but we are open to looking at a Scottish wide role further down the line. 

You will also support our Director and Senior Manager to develop the existing team of 3 to ensure profitability and activity targets are achieved daily, weekly and monthly which will involve everything from weekly 1-2-1’s to performance management when required. 

Search Consultancy have some ambitious growth plans over the next 2 years and growing your team will pay a huge part in that so you must be able to develop others while also billing and winning new business.
