Search Consultancy is currently looking for a self motivated, sales orientated individual to join our team in Inverness.

As an Industrial Recruitment Consultant, you can expect this to be a challenging and demanding role.  In return for your commitment and hard work, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and uncapped bonus scheme.  We’ll invest in your personal development, by training and honing your natural skills to enable you to excel in delivering the very best solutions for our clients.

Our industry is quite diverse and reactive which means we work on a number of different skill sets at all times.  Our clients require anything from one temporary worker to fifty depending on their needs.  The sector is broad and will offer variety in the types of people you seek to positively engage with and successfully place.  Typical roles we recruit for are Drivers, Production Operatives, Warehouse Operatives, Forklift Drivers, Cleaners, Driver’s Mates, Pickers, Packers, Assembly Workers, Welders/Fabricators… The key to our success is being able to multi-task under pressure and deliver results within strict time constraints.

The Role:

  • Develop and manage your own client portfolio, sourcing quality candidates to fill jobs
  • Proactively manage your daily sales activities to ensure your consistent performance
  • Proactively promote candidates through candidate marketing calls
  • Generate leads from all possible sources
  • Gain commitment from clients through regular sales calls and visits
  • Arrange and attend visits to existing and prospective clients
  • Interview candidates to assess skills and availability
  • Ensure that high levels of customer service (to both clients and candidates) are achieved at all times
  • Structure daily and weekly activities to ensure agreed targets are met or exceeded

The Person:

  • A passionate individual with either a proven track record in recruitment or demonstrable success working within a target driven, customer focused or sales discipline
  • Drive, ambition and a determination to build a successful business and profile in the local market
  • Great determination and keen to demonstrate a competitive edge
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A passion and pride for delivering excellent levels of service to our clients and candidates
  • A driver ideally with their own transport
